Concrete gets a bad reputation, and almost always for the same reasons: it was poured too thin, without proper reinforcement, or with control joints in the wrong places — so it cracked, spalled or heaved within a few winters. When it's done correctly, concrete is one of the most durable and versatile surfaces available, and most homeowners are surprised how good a modern decorative pour can look.
We pour properly reinforced slabs with rebar or mesh, cure them correctly, and cut control joints exactly where the slab wants to move — so cracks stay invisible. Everything is pitched to drain away from your home, protecting the foundation and keeping water where it belongs. From there, the finish is yours: broom for grip, smooth for a contemporary look, exposed aggregate for texture, or stamped patterns that convincingly mimic stone and brick at a lower cost.
Whether you need a driveway, walkway, patio, garage pad or set of steps, we treat concrete with the same rigour as our interlock and masonry work. We'll also demolish and replace failing slabs, correcting the drainage and base problems that caused them to fail in the first place — so the new pour outlasts the old one by decades rather than seasons.
