Interlocking & Patios

Interlocking stone is the most popular hardscaping choice in the GTA for good reason: it's beautiful, repairable, and — when it's installed correctly — virtually permanent. The catch is that almost every failure happens below the surface. A patio that heaves, settles or sprouts weeds was nearly always built on a base that was too shallow or poorly compacted. We over-build that foundation, compacting aggregate in lifts and pitching everything for drainage, because the part you can't see is the part that survives twenty freeze-thaw cycles a year.

On top of that base, the craftsmanship shows. We cut every paver clean, run consistent joint lines, lock the field with hidden edge restraints, and finish with polymeric sand that sheds water and starves out weeds. Whether you want a contemporary large-format porcelain patio, a classic Unilock or Techo-Bloc layout, or natural flagstone, the detailing — borders, banding and inlays — is what separates a showroom-grade install from a builder-grade one.

A well-built patio or walkway becomes the floor of your outdoor living space, so it has to handle furniture, foot traffic and GTA weather for decades.
